Report: After a goalless first half, Wales came so close to winning the match against group leaders, Scotland.
It was not to be however, and after a 70th minute goal from Archie Campbell, Wales could find no way through the Scottish defence.
The defeat means Wales cannot now qualify for the finals in Turkey next May. The final group match is against Northern Ireland on Saturday in Lurgan.
