News - Wales Under 21s Defeated By England

The Wales Under 21 side lost an entertaining Nationwide Friendly International at the Racecourse Ground, Wrexham last evening (Thursday 15th May 2008) by 2-0.
First half goals from Tottenham Hotspur's Tom Huddlestone (Penalty) and Arsenal's Theo Walcott gave the visitors a victory in front of 6,831 spectators.
Afterwards, Wales manager Brian Flynn said: "I am disappointed with the defeat, but thought there were plenty of positives to come from the match. England are a very good side, but I thought many of our side matched them all the way this evening."
