News - Wales Squad Additions

Wales manager John Toshack has added two further players to his squad for the opening FIFA World Cup match with Azerbaijan in Cardiff on Saturday 6th September 2008.
Central defender Rhys Williams of Middlesbrough and striker Robert Earnshaw of Nottingham Forest have been called-in to the squad due to fitness concerns over several of the nominated squad.
It will be the first senior call-up for Rhys, who has been a regular in the Under 21 side over the last season.
Robert Earnshaw was in the senior squad for the recent friendly with Georgia in Swansea.
