News - Football Aid At The Millennium Stadium
Posted: 1 December 2008
Football Aid is delighted to announce it’s first EVER ‘Live the Dream’ event at the Millennium Stadium on Thursday 2nd April 2009.
The Wales International Challenge Match will see fans of The Dragons pulling on the red jersey and pitching their skills against a Rest of the World fans team at the home of Welsh Football.
This ultimate national experience will allow supporters of the beautiful game the chance to get even closer to the team they love. Fans will gain exclusive access to the official match day changing rooms, change into their fully personalized strip and then run down the tunnel to the sound of the crowd to play an adrenaline fuelled 90 minutes on their Field of Dreams.
Football Aid has so far raised over £3m, since its conception in 2000, and has allowed nearly 10,000 football fans to pull on their favourite clubs shirt and grace the hallowed turf of the club they support.
So whether you fancy yourself as a goalscorer in the mould of Toshack or Rush, think you can grace the midfield like Speed or Giggs, or reckon you can patrol the defence like Ratcliffe or Coleman, there’s a position for everyone to become the Millennium Stadium’s newest football legend!
Before the referee blows his final whistle, make sure that you’re ahead of the game and visit www.footballaid.com or contact the Football Aid sales team at info@footballaid.com for your chance to become the latest star to grace the hallowed turf of this spectacular stadium!
