News - Denmark v Wales - 'A' International Friendly

Wales will travel to Denmark for a friendly 'A' international on 19th November 2008. The time and venue for the game has yet to be decided. This will be the eighth meeting between the two countries. The last match was at Anfield in 1999 as part of the European Championship Qualifiers. The record so far shows three wins for Wale and four wins for Denmark.In the last visit to Denmark, Wales were 2-1 winners, thanks to goals from Adrian Williams and a young Craig Bellamy.The sides have only met in a friendly once before, in September 1990 when Denmark won 1-0 at the Idraetspark in Copenhagen.Confirmation of venue and kick off time should follow early in the New Year.
